LWVCA is a nondenominational Christian school that seeks to prepare students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. LWVCA is recognized by & affiliated with the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE). LWVCA can be found on the TDOE website under “Non-Public Schools.”

Dear VCA Family, Living Word Victory Christian Academy was founded in 2017. We have grown exponentially in a very short time because we partner with parents by providing quality academic education designed to develop students who will follow Christ, embrace Biblical truth and live lives that glorify God. Our goal as a school is to infuse Christ into everything we do. Victory Christian Academy (VCA) partners with The Church and parents to educate the whole child: “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken” (Ecc. 4:12).If you are not a member of the VCA community, I invite you to come visit us to see the work of our students in their busy classrooms once the school year begins. The curriculum and instruction here are incredibly innovative, integrated, and reflective of our culture of constant improvement. The emphasis at VCA is not only on a challenging curriculum but also on character building and teaching our students to become and do their very best in an ever-changing world.I recognize the responsibility and the blessings of serving your student and family as the Director of Victory Christian Academy; my motto is simple: “There is a genius on the inside of every child (God made us all special); it is our job, as educators, to pray and figure how to unlock their hidden potential.” We look forward with teaming with you and your child to ensure the very best education experience as we impact lives from K3 through 5th grade. Living Word Victory Christian Academy exists to effectively educate and prepare students for a successful future as godly members of their family, church, community, and world.

Living Word Victory Christian Academy’s educational programs or courses of instruction shall be conducted consistently with the teaching of the inerrant Word of God.Any assertion or belief which conflicts with or questions a Bible truth is a pagan deception and distortion of the truth which will be disclaimed as false.
Our Responsibility to Students
It is the responsibility of every instructor or teacher to present the inerrant of Word of God as the sole infallible source of knowledge and wisdom.Living Word Victory Christian Academy shall endeavor to build the academic, physical, spiritual, and social lives of our students within the framework of a Christian worldview (Luke 2:52).
Our View of Education
Living Word Victory Christian Academy has an evangelical view of Christian education. The school will partner with the family and church in bringing the student to faith in Christ. Living Word Victory Christian Academy believes parents have the primary responsibility for the nurturing, maturation, and development of their children.

We apply God’s truth in our daily lives.
Spend quality time in God’s Word on a regular, personal basis. Develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Demonstrate Biblical knowledge in attitude and action. Teach and relate instruction/content from a Christ-centered worldview.

We embody a passion for excellence.
Never settle for less than your best in preparing and presenting content as a master teacher. Realize that “good enough” is neither “good” nor “enough” regardless of your vocation at Living Word. Actively pursue professional growth related to your job at LCS.

We choose to serve others every day.
There is no place for any form of disrespect when you seek to serve others. Model service for students by being part of “the village” it takes to raise Godly children. Respond to colleagues joyfully, even when your flesh doesn’t want to

We embrace diversity and value every student.
There will be strengths and weaknesses with every student Landmark. They don’t catch God by surprise. Love them regardless. God made every child different on purpose. Find a way to reach their hearts as well as their minds.
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)
We are a community of love and grace.
Maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues characterized by unconditional love, integrity, and humility. Let students know you love them by your words, actions, and attitudes. Make the extra effort to partner with parents by communicating with them on a regular basis. They should know that their child is very special to God, and to you.

The mission of Living Word Victory Christian Academy is to create a desire to know and serve God in the heart of each student by equipping them academically, physically, spiritually, and socially to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.
Vision
Our vision at Living Word Christian Academy is clear. Every student is prepared to impact the world for Jesus Christ. We strive to be a Christian School in essence that Christ be a part of everything that we do. A Victory Christian Academy education transforms the heart as well as the mind. The impact of Victory Christian Academy on a student can be life-defining; our students, in turn, graduate ready to impact others.
Statement of Faith
Living Word Victory Christian Academy is a nondenominational Christian school that seeks to prepare students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. All faculty and staff are expected to sign a Statement of Life and Conduct as confirmation of our shared commitment to the Statement of Faith, Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Living Word Victory Christian Academy.
We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testament, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His Will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16, John 10:35, Psalm 89:34, Hebrews 6:18, 2 Peter 1:21).
